Corporate profile portraits for business women and entrepreneurs.
Meet Lori Milner, business woman and entrepreneur. Lori is a facilitator, author, mentor & thought leader and she epitomises the modern corporate woman. It was my aim to bring these qualities through in Lori’s personal branding shoot which took place at my studio.
Lori works predominantly in the corporate market with large companies so it was important that her personal branding images reflect her femininity (she’s passionate about empowering women) as well as her professionalism and expertise.
I asked Lori to bring a selection of outfits so we could create a variety of corporate profile portraits that she can use on her website, social media, press releases and to send to PR offices when she’s speaking at events.
Images that are professionally shot, i.e. well lit and composed, with immaculate hair & make-up tell your clients and potential market that you are serious about what you do. It sounds like a sweeping statement, but FNB probably wouldn’t hire someone who was offering consulting services if their profile picture was a selfie taken on a cell phone, that just looks sloppy and lazy.
I used white and black backdrops as well as converting some of the images to black & white to give Lori a portfolio of portraits that will last for a good year before they need to be updated. A personal branding shoot should give you a tool kit of images that you can rotate and vary to keep your website and social media interesting and up to date.
