This handsome fellow is Herbie the French Bulldog and we met in London recently for a portrait shoot along with his friend Frida the Grenchie.
Shooting in a big city is such fun for me and I think the dogs enjoyed it because they got a walk and lots of treats at the same time, although they didn’t sit at the table long enough to get lunch.
My daughter Rosie came with us for the shoot and did a spot of art directing, hence Herbie being strategically placed under the H on a painted section of wall. Shoreditch is a busy suburb to work in, but has so much potential for photoshoots with all its murals and painted walls, I was in heaven.
I even managed to persuade Herbie’s Mom to have a couple of photos.
This is one of my favourite shots, it was a completely unposed moment…
