This fabulous little dog is Frida the Grenchie. She is half French Bulldog and half Brussels Griffon and is one of the most adorable dogs I’ve ever met.
We got together for a shoot when I was in London recently and had stacks of fun wandering the streets of Shoreditch in search of cool spots to photograph. I love shooting in cities, the potential for unique shots is huge and I could probably have spent all day taking pics but the dogs would have been very bored, plus we ran out of treats quite quickly!!!
Frida is totally unfazed by having her picture taken, her Mom sells dog accessories called Growlees (super fun collar tags with snappy one liners) so she’s quite used to modelling and sat very nicely wherever we put her.
Frida’s Mom, Caroline, on the other hand wasn’t very keen to be in front of the camera, but she needed some pics of the two of them together, it’s always nice to see the person behind a brand so we kept the portraits very informal and of course included Frida.
We were joined on the shoot by Frida’s pal Herbie the Frenchie (you can see his pics here) and we managed to get a few shots of the two of them together which was quite tricky in a busy suburb..
Here you can see the doggies with their Growlees :). Frida is wearing ‘Can I talk to you about Jesus’ and Herbie is wearing ‘Pardon my French’.
I’ll be in the UK again in october, for more information about London shoot bookings, please contact me here.
