Despite Olive looking a little uptight here (this is her one look), I promise, everyone had fun at the Dear Pet Co. spring/summer range photoshoot.

This was a shoot in two halves. A lifestyle location shoot in Rosebank to showcase the Dear Pet Co. everyday range that not only turned heads, it emptied offices as folks flocked out of the Life building to come and pet all the dogs. Followed by a studio shoot to highlight the brand new spring/summer 2023/4 fabric collection.

I never cease to be amazed by what well trained dogs can do (a total alien concept in my house where it all went a bit deliquent with the arrival of the Twins in 2016). Despite being in a busy street, with people watching them and lots of distractions, this crew of dogs sat beautifully.

My aim with lifestyle product shoots like this is to make sure the leads, collars and harnesses are showcased in use so a potential client can see how they work, the quality and how they fit. Images like these are essential not only for website marketing, but also for social media content.

Raisin the chocolate Lab taking her modelling very seriously.

Little Donna the King Charles was a super star.

Gus and Geo spent most of the shoot trying to get ahead of each other.

Little Enzo the Dachshund was a very good boy.

Last up is Captain the Border Collie, who is a seasoned pro when it comes to modelling having starred in various TV ads, I was tempted to ask him for his pawtograph.

The studio product shoot featured some new canine faces (Ziggy obviously crowbarred herself in to model) and a brand new fun fabric range of Dear Pet Co. harnesses, leads, collars and bandanas.

First up, Gus the Weimaraner who brought his big personality to the shoot and really made it his own.

Next up gorgeous Geo again, looking dapper and a little confused about being dressed in yellow.

Lovely Litha.

We managed to persuade Rogue the Aussie (who is a boy) to wear pink flowers (treats were provided as compensation).

Olive makes another appearance.

And of course, I saved the best for last. My crazy Ziggy who gave the brief of modelling snazzy colourful dog harnesses her own uniquely mad spin.
