As often as I can, and it’ll never be often enough I head through to the CLAW (Community Led Animal Welfare) clinic in Durban Deep to photograph the dogs they have waiting for homes.

There’s never a shortage of amazing dogs of all shapes and sizes waiting for their forever family to spot them and adopt them.

Most of the dogs at CLAW are of the mixed breed variety, but occasionally there’s a pedigree dog that ends up at the clinic. On this visit I photographed a dalmatian and a German shepherd, so if you have a favourite breed, it’s always worth checking in case you’re in luck.

The best place to stay up to date on dogs available for adoption at CLAW is their Facebook page which you’ll find HERE. For now I hope you enjoy these gorgeous portraits.

If you like these shelter dog portraits, you can commission me to photograph your own dog either at your home, on location or in my Centurion studio. Get in touch with me HERE to find out more about pricing and packages.
