Family portraits including the dog children, shot at Delta Park Johannesburg.

Meet Gina and Mila, adopted rescue dogs and loves of their parents’ lives. We got together for a family portrait shoot at Delta Park to celebrate Mom’s birthday. The photo shoot was a gift from Dad and he also treated the team to a studio shoot as well a couple of weeks later.

Gina found sitting still for photos to be a bit boring, she needed to keep a close eye on the hadedas that were wandering around the park and we totally cramped her style with the photography section of the proceedings.

Here’s Mila’s take on being interrupted during a walk.

Just give us the treats human. We can see them, make them drop.

We timed the shoot to be able to include the gorgeous Cosmos bloom at Delta Park. These pretty flowers arrive in March/April each year and are simply marvellous.

This family portrait shoot was lots of fun (as I think you can see from the photos). We were laughing at the dogs who cooperated intermittently between chasing birds and sniffing out snacks.

Dogs bring so much joy into our lives and I really enjoy being able to shoot family portrait sessions that include dog children.

If you’d like to have some family portraits taken that include your dogs, please get in touch with me and we can chat and for a limited time only you can make the most of a Buy Now – Book Later special that I’m currently running. Find that here.

We added a few studio portraits into the mix a couple of weeks after the Delta Park shoot. Mila was impeccably behaved and posed like a professional model.

Gina provided the entertainment, again.
