Teresa & Belinha from The Dogvine photographed in Chelsea, London

London’s premier dog blogger Teresa and her trusty rescue side kick Belinha are favourite clients of mine when I visit the UK. I’ve been photographing this lovely pair for the last two years and it’s always lots of fun to trot round London shooting portraits of them

On this particular visit, we had a scoot around Chelsea. It was quite a chilly day, so we had to muster all of our Britishness up to keep stomping around the gorgeous streets off The Kings Road.

Belinha was a champ as usual (how fabulous is this personalised Belinha t-shirt!) and put up with being positioned on fancy door steps and changed into cute bow ties and bandanas, in exchange for a constant supply of her favourite treats of course.

I love her ears! If you have a look at Teresa’s website – www.thedogvine.com you’ll see many, many photos of Queen B as she’s affectionately known, reviewing products, attending events and keeping London dog parents abreast of all the dog friendly events going on in the city.

Here’s Queen B outside the Chelsea Gardens Ivy restaurant posing amongst their fantastic Mother’s Day floral display. We made a stop here during the Chelsea Hound’s Photo Walk the following day. You can see some more photos of dogs stopping traffic outside The Ivy here.

Next stop was the Peggy Porschen cake shop where Belinha sniffed out some cupcakes 🙂

Then we hi-jacked the Pink Love Door where we met the owner of said door, Sally and discovered that she is very happy for folks to pose for photos on her doorstep as long as they make a donation to her Breast Cancer Charity collection tin (which we happily did).

Another quick outfit change for Queen B before we strolled off to the river and wrapped up our shoot before it started to rain.

I really love shooting in London. It’s quite a change to not be frantically worrying about being jumped (the unfortunate reality of shooting in Johannesburg) and to get to enjoy the gorgeous houses and architecture in London. Of course, I also love seeing Teresa and Belinha 🙂

Twice a year, Teresa and I collaborate on a London dog walk. The Chelsea Hounds Photo Walk was the latest one and we’ll be hosting another before the end of 2019, keep an eye on Instagram for dates.
