Dog Portrait Photographer – Delta Park – Johannesburg
Walter the Labrador recently celebrated his first birthday and his owners booked a portrait session with him at Delta Park to mark the occasion.
Beautiful Wally (as he’s known for short) is his parents’ first ever dog together and he’s become the light of their lives. He goes to daycare whilst they are at work and then hangs out with them (preferably at nice cafes) at the weekend.
I love spending time with other dog parents. We chatted about dogs for the duration of the shoot (I have lots of stories to share about my six hounds) and in between I captured some gorgeous moments and the variety of expressions that Walter has. His Mom and I remarked on how he can go from goofy to super serious in a nano second.
This was Walter’s second trip of the day to Delta Park (I always recommend exercising dogs before a shoot) so he was very happy to meander around and sit in different spots for the photographs. Because he was such a good boy, he got to cool off in the dam at the end of the shoot.
