Handmade South African Dog Accessories
The twits, whoops I mean Twins, somehow managed to trick the hoomans at Urban Hound Social into sending them some merch, so of course we had to take some photographs to show off the new gear.
Urban Hound Social is a proudly South African brand creating stylish accessories for pampered pooches. Their range includes cushion covers, bow ties (as demonstrated by Ed above), bandanas, tote bags, beds and toys, all made from 100% shweshwe cotton.
The Twins enjoyed the cush cover very much. Victoria obviously ordered it in pink for herself (it also comes in blue, purple and orange).
Ed didn’t mind though, he’s pretty metrosexual anyway and has several man bags. The cotton felt nice under his bottom. Their smaller sister Hazel was also very keen to try the cush out, but wouldn’t sit still long enough for me to catch a photograph.
The Urban Hound Social team are as passionate about giving back as I am and have pledged to make a quarterly donation to Pekingese Rescue from their sales proceeds. Yay!
Despite having been photographed since they were tiny balls of fluff, the Twins are not very good models. Don’t be fooled by this lovely sitting, here’s what actually happened for most of the shoot…..
