Magazine shoots almost always happen weeks before the actual print issue is released and when it comes to photographing celebrities, it’s usually a scheduling challenge to get everyone together in the right place at the right time.
Batchelor South Africa star Lee Thompson is based in Cape Town and we’d been attempting to get together for a shoot for a couple of months, so when he was in Joburg the Pet Prints Magazine team pulled out all the stops to make this shoot happen.
The other star of the shoot was Rhodesian Ridgeback Grace.
We got this photoshoot in the bag just before winter arrived in Gauteng and turned everything brown. At the time of writing this, it’s August and spring is beginning to show signs of arriving. I cannot wait to get back outside to create more work like this.
