Photographed on location in Fourways, Johannesburg

Meet Sasha, entrepreneur and CEO of Suss Marketing photographed at a coffee shop in Fourways, Johannesburg. Sasha commissioned me to shoot some personal branding portraits for her new website and asked that the resulting images looked professional yet naturally posed (no cheesy pictures at all).

The main aim of personal branding photography is to show, via your images, the level of professionalism you’re offering your clients. I think this is why it’s so important to plan out your outfits, the location of your shoot and make sure you’re looking your best, but still look like the ‘you’ a client will meet and work with.

Sasha works with art galleries and other high end clients, so we were aiming for images that depicted her capability and reliability as well as her professionalism and I approached this shoot quite differently to how I would photograph a child psychologist (which would be far more warm & fuzzy) for example, to make sure that the photographs matched the brand she’s built and the service level she offers her clients.

Are the images you’re sharing on your website and social media really showing you and your business in the best light? Do you have a nice set of pictures to use for articles, ads and promotion? If not, I’m here to help.

If you’d like more information about a personal branding photoshoot, please get in touch with me and we can arrange a time to have a quick chat. My shoots are tailored to each individual entrepreneur and I’m happy to help you plan the best location, props and outfits to help you make the most of your photography session.
