Pet Prints Magazine – March/April Issue
Meet Petra, rescue dog mom, author and all round fabulous human. We got together at the end of 2018 to shoot portraits for the latest issue of Pet Prints Magazine. I met up with Petra, her husband Craig and their three adopted mutts at Delta Park in Johannesburg.
This is Mary-Jane, the best dog model ever.
This is Tam, she’s part dog and part bat-eared fox.
This is Jess, the oldest and most recent rescue addition to Petra’s family.
Jess wasn’t too keen on posing for photos unless the rest of the family were involved. When it came to sharing the limelight, Jess insisted on being front and centre.
Every time.
Petra and Craig are passionate supporters of shelter dog rescue. You’ll often find them at Sandton SPCA (one of my charities of choice) as well as helping with a ton of other charity campaigns via their Just One Thing 365 initiative.
