Beach Family Photography session in Noordhoek with two Schnauzers

I first met this gorgeous couple when I was commissioned to photograph their two Schnauzers, ahead of the arrival of their new son at the end of 2018. You can view those photos here.

We got together again at the end of January to shoot some family portraits and I managed to persuade them to meet me at Noordhoek beach at 7.30am on a Monday morning.

Despite the fact that the wind was blowing with enthusiasm, we got some gorgeous family portraits. I love shooting by the sea (that’s what happens when you’re British and live in landlocked Centurion), so this shoot really was a treat for me.

Early morning and late afternoon light is always best for portrait shoots. I’m looking for soft and flattering light when I’m photographing people and Noordhoek beach did not disappoint.

I’m often in Cape Town for shoots, so if you’d like to book a beach portrait shoot session with me, please get in touch with me here.
