Portraits of Harry & Gemma the Bulldogs photographed in studio
Gemma and Harry the Bulldogs came to visit me at the studio for a doggy portrait session recently. Their Mom has had her heart set on some gorgeous portraits of them both for a while, so we finally made it happen.
Bulldogs can be a bit like bulldozers sometimes and this cheeky pair were no different. I got side tackled a couple of times by one slobbery hound whilst I was photographing the other one.
Gemma is looking quizzical here because I was tilted at a funny angle on the floor after being licked at speed by Harry. ROFL, literally.
What a fun pair of dogs though. They would sit and pose without question for pieces of biltong, at one point we nearly lost the whole bag of bribery when Gemma sniffed the stash out and tried to swallow it all.
Her party trick (aside from the snack stealing trick) is to lie on her back and look as cute and squishy as possible. Voila.
Pretty impossible to resist this face.
